Breast & Cervical Prevention Session

BASSMA organized a prevention session about breast and cervical cancer in BASSMA’s premises, Badaro, held by a gynecologist, Dr. Elie Moukadieh, on January 29, 2015, targeting mothers.


The objective of the session is to increase the knowledge of the mothers about the gynecological illnesses they may face, and how to prevent them, seeking early detection.

 


The twelve ladies who participated in this session were very interested by the topic, and asked many questions in order to protect their health and reduce the chances to have cancer thanks to early detection.

 


Upon the mothers’ request, a second session concerning all their gynecological worries will be given by Dr. Moukadieh.
