On Sunday March 20, BASSMA celebrated Mother's Day with one hundred of its family members on a trip to one of the most renowned historical and cultural destinations in Lebanon: Chouf and Beiteddine!
Family members were excited to visit the famous Beiteddine castle that most of them were seeing for the first time!
The first stop was at Saydit El Tall Church in Deir El Kamar.
Afterwards, the group visited the famous Beiteddine castle, and was astonished by the beautiful palace and its gardens!
The visit was then followed by a lunch at a Lebanese restaurant in Deir El Kamar. BASSMA’s families were ecstatic with the mezze, machawi, drinks, music, and the traditional narguileh.
Everyone danced and partied in a pleasant atmosphere that once again provided BASSMA members and families with more unforgettable memories for them to take home.
At the end of the day, the children finally rushed around their mothers with their Mother’s Day gifts.
Happy, moved and slightly tired, the families returned to Beirut with a smile on their face. What an unforgettable day!
